In Perfect Hindsight – Celebrating #Sharp100

This is a sponsored post.
I said a lot of stupid things before I was a parent. Seriously, a lot.

Right up there is things like ‘why would I need a dishwasher?’ and ‘who needs a microwave’. Which is all well and good when you are only looking after yourself. But add kids? And it’s MADNESS. I still don’t have a dishwasher. But that doesn’t mean I don’t desperately want one. Not to help me do the dishes, so I can hide the dishes.

And microwave. I have a Sharp microwave. It’s not just for bottles, or for cooking rice, or quick porridge. You know what I use it mostly for? Re-heating coffee. Because apparently motherhood means never being able to finish a cup of coffee. EVER. Ah perfect hindsight. So I am able to see with perfect clarity the sheer scale of my previous idiocy.

Sharp is celebrating 100 years, which is only slightly more impressive than my celebration of perfect rice and hot coffee.

Sharp is celebrating with the Sharp 100 Years Share campaign. Share your photos to commemorate a special moment or an anniversary and you can go in the draw to win one of two trips to the West Coast of the United States or Sharp goodies.

Comments

  1. Re-heating coffee sounds all too familiar!

  2. Yep, my microwave gets used for reheating tea more than anything else. Occasionally for melted cheese sandwiches, but mostly for tea.
Hearing you on the dishwasher want. We don’t have one either.

  3. My microwave was for leftovers…..
