I’m not a person who really has to deal with writers block. I can always find a way to turn nothing into something. And I’m not adverse to occasionally boring people, as long as I’m interested, or even if I’m not at least if I use pretty words, or ugly words in a pretty way.
But the more hectic things get, the less creative I am. There’s just less room for it. I sit down and my mind is blank. I just want to sit down and eat garlic something while watching the food network and possibly make some cupcakes for later. Or just sit there with a vat of popcorn. Sweet and salty popcorn ideally.
There’s nothing like a bout of sickness and teething to throw a spanner in the works of my well oiled machine*
So now all I need is someone to clean my house, do my washing, look after my kids and do my work so I can sit on the couch with my popcorn. Minions!!!!**
*The well oiled machine is less of a well oiled machine and more of something that moves forward by necessity, but you get the idea.
**I don’t recommend the minions. They are highly unreliable.

Minions are just as likely to eat all the chocolate in the house, instead.
I have a serious case of overwhelming lifeness right now and I’m not sure how much more whinging my blog can take.
I know the feeling! I’ve been so busy from work. And I think if I have one more ZOMG I’m so busy, the house is a mess and the tv is looking after my children posts I will slap myself for actually complaining about having freelance work at home. And the work is fun. Or it would be if I didn’t keep getting interrupted by ‘but mummy . . .’
