what is a goog?

In Australia, a goog is a child’s word for an egg. Really. So when my first baby was little I used to call her a ‘good goog’ because she was a good egg. And it kind of stuck.

This is what I look like when someone else does my hair and makeup. Left to my own devices, the results are less than stellar.

I’m a reformed perfectionist, unrepentant geek, chaos manager, photographer, blogger, tiny dictator lover and baby snuggler.

I love my shoes, but I don’t get to wear them very often.

I like crocheting, books I’ve already read and running so I can eat cake.
