259/365 Nappy Free

I am THAT excited about it. Riley is less so. We were in the supermarket the other day and she was insisting we needed big girl nappies ‘just in case’. After three days of completely dry nappies in the morning we got rid of them and it’s now four or five days later.I am so excited. I am so ready to say goodbye to her nappies. To never have to try and sneakily put on a nappy when she crashes out early.
But mostly I’m just proud of her.

  1. Lovely photo of Riley. She look so happy, full of glee. Love the dress too. And congrats on the toilet training. We’ve only just got the daytime side sorted so I’m revelling in that a little while longer before tackling the nights.

  2. OH how I am so envious.Greenie, has been day trained for a year. Even nap time. But not night time. Nuh-uh. Not even close. He still needs a nappy change at night. About 1am every morning he comes in whinging. I’ve talked to him about trying to hold it so we can use the toilet and then ditch the nappies altogether, but no dice. At least not yet.

    • That’s rough – he must be pretty sensitive to the nappies to need to be changed. Riley would always sleep through a wet nappy (except when she was a baby – when she was a baby she was more sensitive to a wet nappy than a dirty one).

  3. Woohoo!!! Go Riley!!

  4. Wow, that is wonderful – Z will be 4 next month & I am not even close to attempting night training yet – he wakes with a very wet diaper every day, though.

  5. I can’t believe how quick it happened!

  6. Riley was the same up until recently. Would always wake up with a wet nappy. And then I started to notice the occasional dry one. I’m sure it will happen for Z soon.
