You see that? It’s fine hair fuzz all around the hairline. I still have it. Back when I was in school it was what determined whether you were a devil or an angel. Devils had the hair fuzz, angels did not. I didn’t mind being a devil. It seemed far more rebellious and daring. Besides ‘Angels’ always had the air of superiority about them and I like being the underdog.
And it looks like she’s got it too. A troubling sign that she will be saddled with my crazy hair. Josh has equally crazy hair so he’s no help to the genetic pool anyway.
Yes, I am hair obsessed. If I could have, I would have given Riley dead straight non-thick hair. But even so, I think I’d still keep the devil part. She’s already a rebel anyway.

I think I remember being told this is the result of a keratin growth spurt- nails and hair will grow. And they get new ‘shoots’ of hair, so to speak. hence the short fuzz, till it grows in again. I found I I got the same thing a few months after my kids were born
I lost so much hair after Riley was born – it actually looked normal for a few months
At my school the devils had a point/arrow in the middle of their hairline and the angels had a smooth round hairline. Which makes me a devil too.
Welcome, fellow Devil!
I love the way you do up her hair in more than 2 pigtails. So cute.
I’ll probably be secretly (or not so secretly) disappointed once she’s too old for it.
Alexa has that fuzz, but I find it tends to grow out and then be replaced with more in front of it. Like her head is growing, but her hair isn’t quite keeping up yet
I was always jealous of the girls that had the super thick hair and the fuzz. Mine always just goes straight back when I wear a headband. I wanted to be a devil dammit!
